Let ChatGPT do the bookkeeping.
Caribooks connects QuickBooks Online to ChatGPT. Drop your vendor invoices in Caribooks and ChatGPT turns them into bills, PDF attached. Ask it to file the uncategorized expenses and it files them the way you usually do. Each company starts read-only; you decide when ChatGPT may write.
14 days free, no card. ChatGPT asks you to sign in to Caribooks, then to QuickBooks.

How it works
- 01
Add Caribooks to ChatGPT
Tap "Add to ChatGPT": ChatGPT opens the Caribooks app. Add it and sign in with your email. No Caribooks account yet? It is created right there.
- 02
Connect QuickBooks
ChatGPT gives you the link. Sign in with Intuit and pick the company; the 14-day trial starts then.
- 03
Hand over the paperwork
Ask in plain words: "Turn the invoices in my document box into bills", "File my uncategorized expenses". Switch on full access when you want ChatGPT to write.
Drop it all in the document box.
Receipts, vendor invoices, bank statements: drag the whole pile into the portal. Then ask your assistant to deal with it.
“Can you attach these receipts to the right expenses, and tell me if anything is missing?”
Or email them in
Forward any receipt or invoice to your private Caribooks address. It lands in this same document box, exactly as if you had dropped it.

Caribooks reads only mail from vendors in your books. It learns how each one sends its invoices, collects the ones missing from the past year, then checks for new ones every morning.

What it does
- Turns the invoices in your document box into bills, with the PDF attached.
- Attaches a receipt photo you send in the chat to its expense.
- Files uncategorized expenses following your past choices, records payments, and creates invoices and estimates.
- Finds the expenses that have no receipt attached.
- Runs QuickBooks' own reports for any period: profit and loss, balance sheet, aging, sales tax.
What it doesn't do
- Write on a company that is still read-only. You switch on full access in the portal, one company at a time.
- Delete or void without asking you about that specific record first.
- Email an invoice from the chat. The email waits in Approvals until you click to send it.
- Move money. A payment it records is an entry in the books.
- Work with QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Online only.

Questions
Do I need a Caribooks account first?
No. When ChatGPT opens Caribooks, you sign in with your email and the account is created on the spot. ChatGPT then gives you the link to connect QuickBooks.
Isn't there already a QuickBooks app in ChatGPT?
Intuit's own app is offered only in the US, and covers sales documents, a profit and loss and a cash flow statement. Caribooks works with books in Canada and the US and reaches the whole ledger: bills, expenses, journal entries and every report.
Can ChatGPT break my books?
Each company starts read-only. With full access, an update starts from the record's current version, so it never overwrites a change someone made in QuickBooks meanwhile, and deletes and voids wait for your yes.
Does it work in French?
Yes. Ask in French or English and ChatGPT answers in the language you wrote in.
Does OpenAI train on my books?
Caribooks does not sell your data or train models on it. What OpenAI does with your conversations is a ChatGPT setting: Settings → Data controls → turn off "Improve the model for everyone".
Try it on your own books.
