About
Who's behind Caribooks
Caribooks is a product of Peich Technologies Inc., a Montréal studio founded by Xavier Peich. Peich designs, builds and hosts web platforms for a couple dozen businesses in Canada and Europe: brokers, manufacturers, studios, theatres. Caribooks came out of that studio, on the same team and the same infrastructure.
We built it for ourselves first
Peich Technologies keeps its own books in QuickBooks Online, and we wanted to run them from Claude: chase overdue invoices, prepare GST/QST filings, file receipts. The official connector didn't work in Canada, so we built our own. Peich is Caribooks customer number one: same connector, same servers, our real books, every day.
Built in Quebec, in both languages
French isn't a translation bolted on afterward: the product, the site and support have worked in French and English since day one. Data is hosted in Canada, in the AWS Montréal region.
