Ask, delegate
A balance sheet, three invoices to create, receipts to file: in English or French.
“Create the invoice” · “File the receipts” · “Chase the overdue invoices” · “Draft the estimate” · “Pull the balance sheet” · “Record the payment”
The connector in action
Which invoices are overdue? Politely chase the ones past 30 days.
Three invoices are overdue, totalling $9,542.95:
| Harbor Bakery | $2,450.00 | 32 d |
| Lakeside Dental | $4,892.95 | 45 d |
| Northgate Fabrication | $2,200.00 | 61 d |
I drafted a reminder tuned to each one: courteous for the first two, firmer for Northgate (61 days). Send them?
Yes, send them.
✓ Three reminders sent.

Autopilot
Set the routine. Review the work.
For tasks you repeat, give Autopilot a schedule. It checks QuickBooks while you are away and brings back proposed changes with the documents behind them.
Give it a recurring task
For example: every weekday at 8, match the receipts I uploaded to my QuickBooks expenses.
Let it prepare the work
Autopilot reads QuickBooks and the files you drop or forward to Caribooks. It proposes a match or flags what needs your attention.
Approve with the evidence
Review each proposal in the portal, with its receipt and explanation. Approve or reject it. Every routine starts in preview mode, so proposed changes wait for you.
Example routine · Weekdays · 8:00 AM
Match my uploaded receipts to expenses.
Receipt · Office supplies
$48.75
Proposed: attach this receipt to the expense.
Waiting for your approval
Your books stay in QuickBooks.
The connector reads your books live. Autopilot keeps the proposals and supporting evidence you need to review its work. You choose the access granted to each company.

“What do you keep?”
Your account, connected companies and encrypted QuickBooks access tokens. Autopilot also keeps your rules, proposals and action history. Uploaded receipts stay until they are attached in QuickBooks, or for up to 90 days. Our policy explains what is retained and where.
Privacy and retention →“Does Claude train on my books?”
No. Anthropic excludes connector content, including MCP servers like Caribooks, from model training: on every plan, free included, whatever your settings.
Anthropic's policy ↗“What about ChatGPT?”
Not on Business, Enterprise or Edu plans. On a personal account, turn off “Improve the model for everyone” under Settings → Data Controls, and your conversations are no longer used for training.
OpenAI's policy ↗“Who can write to my books?”
No one, until you enable write access, company by company. Every delete requires a confirmation.
“How is this different from the official QuickBooks connector?”
The official connector handles the sales side: invoices, estimates, payment links, customers, plus a profit and loss and a cash flow statement. That is where it stops, and Intuit says as much in its own documentation. Caribooks reaches the rest of the ledger: balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger, receivables and payables aging, vendor bills, expenses, journal entries. Thirty-five reports, across as many company files as you connect. Intuit does publish a developer version that goes deeper, but it runs on your own machine and wants an Intuit developer app and an OAuth callback before it will start. Caribooks gives you that depth with the one-click setup.
